There are four types of different title opening structures:
Discrete title sequence
(Arlington Road):
A Discrete film opening is where there are images shown that might not have anything to do with the film however they're still placed together. Quite a lot of editing is used to create this opening. Therefore this type of sequence is used to make it harder for the audience to understand what the storyline could be. An example is of this would be the title sequence from Arlington Road.
