Who would be the audience for your media product?
The wider audience for our film would be young adults because they like a good thriller film and they know what they want to see such as weapons and gore and a lot of death and violence, i think young adults would be the perfect audience for our film because there is quite a lot of blood and weapons and i think it may be un suitable for young children, there are some violent scenes in out thriller which young viewers may be put of by which is why i feel that young adults will be the perfect audience for our film, also elderly viewers might find the film a little bit boring because it is not there sort of thing.
The audience that is more specific for our sub genre would be adults because they are into films that involve a lot of thinking, the sub genre for our film is psychological because the basis behind the film is that a psycho escaped from an asylum and murders an innocent women, this would be more suitable for the older generation because it would be more gripping and it would make them think a lot about why this man is in the asylum.
I feel that the that our film is aimed at mainly young men because i feel that this is the film that they would be most likely to watch, the film involves a male psycho and an innocent women, this is why i feel that it would be most suited for male viewers as i might be a bit boring and un realistic if the plot behind the film was a women walking around and killing men who were bigger and tougher than her.
