Day 1 of Editing...

On the first day of editing i was a little bit nervous because we have never really used the professional software before, but once we got into it and learnt how to use the software i felt that we really started to put everything in place meaning that all our clips were in the right place with all of the titles over them. Today we spent most of the lesson arranging the clips on our harddrive, this was important because we needed to make sure that we knew where all of the clips were so that it would make it easier to find them the next time that we want to edit them.

during this we were given some minor points that we then took into consideration the following week when we went out to film again and amend all of our mistakes, there was nothing major that we needed to take care of but we did need to reshoot some of our shots, such as the one where i walked into the house and had blood on my hand, this may baffle our audience because they will start to wonder why the blood is on my hand, so it is important that we plan every step of our thriller opening out in great detail.

I think for a first day filming we did ok because as i said we didn't really know how to use the software which slowed us down a little bit. I feel that when it comes to editing our film opening again we will be able to do so quickly to a good standard, i am a little bit stressed because i dont think we will be able to finish it in time, but we will try our very best to make sure we get it done by friday.
