Evaluation Of Prelim - Majeda

In lesson, we were told to produce a prelim and the story behind our prelim was given to us in class, it consisted of a a person walking into the room and sharing a dialogue with another person. We were tasked to incorporate the 180 degree rule and certain camera angles that we were taught in class into this prelim.

Firstly, we filmed oustide of our college to set the location, we then took long shots and close ups of the character coming through the gates and into the college. Ideally, this was to introduce the character to the audience. We tried our hardest to not make any continuity errors so we tried to make sure the camera placement was on point. The match cuts that we shot of the character coming into the college worked extremely well.

However, during the dialogue we were slightly unaware and puzzled with the concept of the 180 Degree Rule. We were unable to incorporate this into our prelim successfully and this was due to the fact that the camera placement was not placed in the right angles.
